Robert Dugoni Biography

Robert Dugoni was born in 1961 on February 17^th, which was a Friday, and makes him an Aquarius, which is an Air sign.

Robert was born in Pocatello, a town with a population of around 54,000 people located in Idaho, which is a state in the United States of America (if you can picture a map of the US, Idaho is one state away from the Pacific Ocean and is shaped like a slice of cake, with the narrow end resting on the Canadian border and the rest ‘hanging down vertically’ towards Mexico). Robert was born into a very big family – he has four sisters and five brothers. He came somewhere in the middle of the ten children.

When he was very young, the family moved to Burlingame, a city of around 28,000 people on the San Francisco Peninsula, in the state of California (which is on the west coast of the US and is south-west of Idaho.) His family was not well off, so he remembers his childhood filled with hand-me-downs and only black and white TV, not color.

One of his favorite childhood movies was Wizard of Oz. He loved it so much that whenever it was on, he’d watch the first part at home (the part in black and white) and then race to a neighbor’s who had a color TV to watch the section in Oz (which was filmed in color). His neighbor even provided popcorn.

He read from an early age, encouraged by his mother who was an English major, enjoying such classics as The Count of Monte Cristo, Of Mice and Men, and The Great Gatsby.
